Newborn Babies | Anchorage & Girdwood Newborn & Baby Photographer

Photographing Newborn babies with a mix of modern posing and lifestyle images from a fresh perspective

What can you expect…

Newborn sessions are photographed within the comfort of your own home. I am located in Girdwood, Alaska and serve the Anchorage, Girdwood, Eagle River areas. All sessions are tentatively booked based on your due date, and a final date is picked shortly after your baby arrives. I recommend booking your newborn session several months in advance of your due date, to ensure I will have availability. I do offer combination packages for my maternity & newborn clients, so please inquire for complete pricing information. All my newborn packages include a variety of digital negatives and product credits. These packages have been created to accommodate the different needs, style, and expectations of my clients.

I spend a lot of time with my clients during their newborn sessions, ensuring they will receive a nice variety of images. Please view the newborn portfolio page to see a small preview of the type and quality of photographs you can expect from your own newborn session.

What about newborn props…

I will bring a small collection of blankets and wraps to the session, but mostly use what is available at my client’s home. I also provide my clients with a list of online vendors that supply newborn accessories (e.g. hats, headbands, bloomers, etc…) that you can purchase specifically for your session. This is another reason why I recommend booking your baby’s photography session several months in advance, so you have time to peruse the vendor list and pick out any little accessories that you would like to purchase for your baby.
